Jet Primary Teachers' Resource Book 1

The first of two volumes, this resource book provides teachers with a variety of activities for use with young learners, based on photocopiable pages accompanied by teacher's notes on facing pages. Activities include games, songs, worksheets and art and craft, all of which can be used as one-off revision activities or as part of a full theme-based project. The teacher's notes give the language focus of each activity, the materials required and the suggested procedure for running the activity. In addition, the preparation of the materials (most of which can be done by the pupils themselves) is designed to allow for free and spontaneous language practice. The photocopiable pages in this book are topic-based; the themes in this first volume being "Christmas", "Myself" and "Animals", and have been chosen to include the cultural and seasonal input which teachers so often request, while aiming to be relevant and of interest to young children. The book also provides appropriate practice material for teachers preparing pupils for the Cambridge Young Learners English Tests.
