I tried to make this book as useful and reliable as I could. First, useful. There are over 18,000 entries, covering questions on spelling and style. Of course there's no way of knowing all the spelling and style mistakes people are apt to make, but I think I caught all the common ones. After all, I've taught people to write for over 30 years. The book is arranged in one alphabet. This includes compounds spelled as two words. For instance you'll find high school between highroad and high-sounding. Common mistakes are listed between parentheses. Naturally I didn't include every possible mistake, but I tried to include those that are most common, like (mispell) and (her's).
